cheesecake handmade beauty© is an all natural, environmentally friendly, handmade bath and body product company. the concept was first conceived five years ago when the owner, claire lyerla, took a break from her undergraduate studies to enroll in cosmetology school for aesthetics. although she remains a licensed aesthetician, her passion has always been more focused on handmade, rather than pharmaceutical, skincare products and make-up. her line is intended to appeal to the environmentally conscious, animal lovers, and all who enjoy cute, good smelling stuff! it is designed to be affordable without sacrificing quality, and natural without sacrificing the rock 'n’ roll, pin-up inspired aesthetic that she loves so much. cheesecake specializes in unique and beautiful hand crafted gift sets, as well as individual items. all packaging and gift wrap is either re-purposed, recycled, re-usable or recyclable. cheesecake is named for the hollywood pin-up photos from the mid 1900s that were commonly referred to as ‘cheesecake’ shots.
